ADVENTURE MYANMAR
Day 01 : Arrival to
Yangon
Arrive at Yangon International Airport.
Greet and meet by local tour guide at
the airport. Transfer to hotel for check
in. After that, visit Sule Pagoda ,
Independent monument at Mahabandoola
Park, Nanthida Jetty at Yangon River,
Kyaukhtagyi reclining Buddha, downtown
Yangon with its faded colonial
atmosphere, India town and bustling
China town. In the evening visit
Shwedagon Pagoda, with its golden stupa
covered with 60 tons of pure gold leaf.
Overnight at hotel.
Day 02 :
Yangon -
Bago -
Kyaikhtiyo
After breakfast, drive to Bago. Proceed
to Kyaikhtiyo - one of Myanmar 's
Landmarks which is famous for its
precarious position and religious
importance: KYAIKHTIYO the 'Golden
Rock', a huge boulder completely covered
by gold leaf and delicately balanced on
the edge of a cliff. To reach the pagoda
from KIN PUN a steep 11 km road leads to
the upper staging point by truck. The
upper area must be traveled by foot, at
present, and the walk is approximately 4
km (1 hour) up a steep path and ascends
some 500 m to the GOLDEN ROCK Pagoda
(Golden Rock) Pagoda. Overnight at

Day 03:
Kyaikhtiyo -
Malamyine
After breakfast, drive to Malamyine. the
second busiest seaport and the third
largest city in Myanmar. Visit Goung Say
Island , Kyaikthanlan Pagoda, Maha Muni
Pagoda and U Khandi. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 04:
Malamyine Sightseeing
After breakfast, drive to Kyaikhami Yele
Phaya - perched on the rocks by the sea
and join to the land by a covered
causeway, Thanphyuzayat War Cemetery,
Win Sein Tawya (that is Relic Buddha)
and Thaiyaungthat (Dattaw Kyaung)
Kamawet Village. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 05:
Malamyine -
Taungoo
After breakfast, drive to Taungoo (
Kaytumadi City ) and sightseeing.
Overnight at Taungoo.
Day 06:
Taungoo (Phor Kyar Resort)
After breakfast, Proceed to Pho Kyar
Forest Resort ( about one and half hours
) - the ideal ecotourism spot being
having a special privilege of occupying
a prime location, a little forest
bordering with a stream running in
zig-zag way within the area and
providing an abundance of water supply
for local settlement and elephants
bathing. Observe how elephant bathe and
elephant logging skill. After that do
elephant riding in the forest about 1
hour. In the afternoon, see elephant
show and free and easy program. And then
back to Taungoo by car. Overnight at
Taungoo.
Day 07:Taungoo -
Taunggyi
After breakfast, drive to Taunggyi, the
capital town of Shan States situated in
the southern Shan State on a high
plateau surrounded by high mountains. It
is 4,712feet above the sea level and has
a moderate climate. Visit Myoma Market,
a place where people from the environs
buy and sell their regional products. It
is also the gathering point of different
national races residing in Taunggyi.
Overnight at Taunggyi.
Day 08:
Taunggyi -
Inle Lake
After breakfast, drive to Nyaung Shwe
Jetty. Boat trip to Inle Lake - the
second biggest lake in Myanmar famous
for its unique leg rollers. Visit
floating market - available to see on
the market days only which is hold on
every five days, Phaungdaw Oo Pagoda-
Inpawkhone Village - famous for its silk
weaving handlooms, Black Smith workshop
,Ngaphechaung Monastery - well known
because of jumping cats, traditional
ways of fishing and floating gardens.
Overnight at Hotel.
Day 09:
Inle -
Pindaya -
Kalaw
After breakfast, drive to Pindaya - a
small quiet town perched on the bank of
the placid Botoloke Lake. Visit Pindaya
cave, containing thousands of Buddha
images, is the main destination in this
region and local handicraft workshops
producing Shan paper made from mulberry
bark and traditional umbrellas made from
the same paper that are used by monks
all around the country. Continues to
Kalaw - stands high on the western edge
of the Shan Plateau. It is 70 km west of
Taunggyi. Overnight at Kalaw.
Day 10:
Kalaw -
Mandalay
After breakfast, drive to Mandalay. Free
and leisure at Hotel. Enjoy the sunset
from Mandalay Hill for panoramic view of
city. Overnight in Mandalay.
Day 11:
Mandalay -
Amarapura -
Ava
-
Sagaing -
Mandalay
After breakfast, depart for full day
trip to the former capitals of Amarapur,
Ava and Sagaing. The day begins with a
visit to the 18th century capital,
Amarapura. Attend the daily meal of over
a thousand monks at the country’s
largest monastery, Mahagandayon. Visit a
silk weaving workshop, the craft
specialty of Amarapura. Proceed the Ava,
the capital from 14th to 18th centuries
and visit by horse and carriage the old
wooden Bagaya Monastery and the remains
of the Royal Palace and fort. In the
afternoon cross the bridge over the
Irrawaddy River and continue to Sagaing.
Covered with 600 white-painted pagodas
and monasteries, Sagaing Hill is widely
regarded as the religious centre of
Myanmar and is home to 3,000 monks and
100 meditation centres. Finish the day
with a walk at sunset over the 200
year-old U Bein Bridge, constructed
entirely from teak. Overnight in
Mandalay.
Day 12:
Mandalay -
Mingun -
Mandalay by boat
After breakfast, transfer to the jetty
and board a private chartered boat for
an excursion over the Irrawaddy River
towards the former capital of Mingun.
After a 45 minute cruise, arrive in
Mingun famous for its huge unfinished
pagoda also home to the Mingun Bell,
considered as the world’s largest
uncracked ringing bell. Also visit the
beautiful white Hsinbyume Pagoda. Return
by boat to Mandalay. In the afternoon
visit Kuhtodaw Pagoda with its 729
marble stone slabs of Buddhist
scriptures (known as the world’s biggest
book), Shwenandaw Monastery , noted for
its exquisite woodcarving, Mandalay
Palace and the impressive Kyauktawgyi
Pagoda with its huge sitting Buddha.

Day 13:
Mandalay -
Bagan by boat
After breakfast, transfer to the jetty
for a boat trip to Bagan. As it sails
southwards, the riverboat passes many
villages offering a glimpse into the way
of life along the Irrawaddy River.
Arrive in Bagan late in the afternoon.
On the dry plain of central Myanmar by
the banks of the Irrawaddy River stands
Bagan, one of the most remarkable
archaeological site in Aisa. The 230
years, from 11th to 13th centuries ,
when Bagan was the capital of Myanmar,
were marked by a religious fervor and
building frenzy resulting in the
thousands of stupas and temples many of
which are still standing today.

Day 14:
Bagan Sightseeing
After breakfast morning sightseeing of
Bagan features the colourful Nyaung Oo
Market, the Shwezigon Pagoda and its
magnificent golden stupa, Wetkyi-In
Gubyaukgyi, a cave temple with exquisite
jatakas murals paintings and the elegant
Htilominlo Temple noted for its fine
plaster carvings and glazed sandstone
decorations. In the afternoon , visit
Ananda, an architectural masterpiece of
the early-style temple with two original
standing Buddha images whose facial
expressions change depending on the
distance the statue is viewed from. The
Ananda Okkyaung is one of the few
surviving brick monasteries from the
early Bagan period and the next temple
to be visited, Thatbyinnyu , is the
highest in Bagan, rising to 61m. End the
day with a horse and carriage tour among
the temples passing by the traditional
village of Taungbi, Sulamani Temple and
massive Dhammayangyi Temple noted for
its remarkable brickwork. Enjoy the
sunset over the site from the upper
terrace of Myauk Guni Temple. Overnight
in Bagan.
Day 15:
Bagan -
Mt. Popa -
Bagan
After breakfast, visit Mystical Mt.Popa
, one hour drive from Bagan on the road
to Mandalay, rises 1,520 meters into the
sky. Climbing to the summit takes about
45 minutes and you can visit the
Mahagiri Shrine dedicated to the Nats
(spirits) at the top. There is a
wonderful panoramic view. This is an
easy day’s journey from Bagan stopping
along the way at local villages and a
sugar cane plantation. Back to Bagan .

Day 16:
Bagan -
Pyay
After breakfast, drive to Pyay - an
important commercial center for trade
between the Ayeyarwady Delta, Central
and Upper Myanmar and the Rakhine (Arakan)
State. Evening visit Shwesandaw Pagoda
and Night market. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 17:
Pyay -
Shwetaung -
Yangon
After breakfast, drive to Shwetaung.
Visit Shwemyettaman Pagoda- Pagoda of
Golden Spectacles and Shwenattaung
Pagoda -Pagoda of Golden Spirit Moutain.
Proceed to Yangon. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 18:
Yangon -
Ngwesaung Beach
After breakfast, drive to Ngwesaung- the
newest cool spot situated on the western
seaboard of the country, facing the Bay
of Bengal. Sea, Sand, Sun and Scene at
Ngwesaung are the breathtaking
beauties.Relax on the beach or for the
more active, enjoy various sports such
as snorkeling, surfing and cycling on
the sand. Overnight in Ngwesaung beach.
Day 19: Enjoy at
Ngwesaung Beach
Breakfast at the hotel and a full day at
leisure to enjoy the beach and water
sports. In the afternoon, go to Elephant
camp to enjoy elephant riding. Overnight
in Ngwesaung beach.
Day 20: Enjoy at
Ngwesaung Beach
Breakfast at the hotel and a full day at
leisure to enjoy the beach and water
sports. Overnight in Ngwesaung Beach.
Day 21:
Ngwesaung -
Yangon
Breakfast at the hotel and time to relax
on the beach. Afternoon drive back to
Yangon. Overnight at Yangon.
Day 22:
Yangon
After breakfast, visit Buddha Tooth
Relic, Kaba Aye (World Peace) Pagoda,
Maha Pasana Cave and Bogyoke (Scott
Market). Overnight at Hotel.
Day 23:
Yangon -
Thanlyin (Syriam)
After breakfast, proceed to
Thanlyin(Syriam).Visit Ancient
Portuguese Church (AD 1749-1750).
Continue to Kyauk Tan.Visit Yele Phaya
(Pagoda on a small island) and Kyauk Tan
Market. Drive back to Yangon.
Overnight at Hotel.
Day 24: Departure from
Yangon
After breakfast, free and leisure at
hotel. Transfer to airport for
departure.
